ODJFS
Has
Re-training funds for workers laid off as the result of foreign competition.
Geauga
County Department of Job and Family Services
Has training funds available for low income parents interested in
upgrading existing skills, or learning new skills.
Ohio
Rehabilitative Services Commission (BVR) (BVI) Has
funds available to assist people with
disabilities.
WorkPlace
Has Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funds available to help train:
1.
Workers that have been
laid off in declining industries, and,
2.
Adult workers who are
unable to find employment leading to self-sufficiency.
