Emergency

You may be eligible for assistance to pay down household expenses in order to help you to be able to manage your monthly payments. These are known as "Emergency Programs" because they are designed to be used only to address an urgent household crisis such as utility shut-off or unexpected repairs.

Emergency Program Descriptions:

Home Energy Assistance Program - HEAP - Winter Crisis Program/Summer Crisis Programs

The Winter Crisis Program provides assistance to income eligible households that are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have already been disconnected, or for bulk fuel customers that have 25% or less of the tank's fuel capacity on hand. Available November 1, through March 31.

Summer Crisis Program provides assistance with electric for eligible applicants during the summer months. The program runs July 1 through August 31.

Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP) Plus is for regulated gas or electric customers with household income at or below 150% FPL. PIPP Plus provides a monthly payment rate based on household income.
