“ATTENTION: Starting April 23rd through April 26th all Public Assistance Systems (SNAP, Medicaid and Cash Assistance) will be unavailable. This includes the Self-Service Portal. Systems will be back up on Tuesday April 27th. During this time staff will not be able to look up your case or answer case specific questions.”
Geauga County Job and Family Services coordinates the Sponsor a Family Program to assist low income families with toys, food, and gifts for the holidays. The program is open to Geauga County families with minor children who are receiving assistance such as food stamps. Geauga County Job and Family Services has received funding through the Emergency Food and Shelter Program to assist Geauga County residents with rent, mortgage and utility payments. Households with income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty level may apply by phone for this assistance.
